Sheikh Rehana Textile Engineering College (SRTEC) is one of the government textile engineering colleges in Bangladesh established in order to meet the growing need for advanced Textile Engineering education in Bangladesh as well as in the world. In 2022, the institute launched the 4 years bachelor degree program in Textile Engineering in affiliation with the Bangladesh University of Textiles. Currently, the college offers graduate programs in four different specialization areas to prepare its students for their career life. This University has 8 acres land with large infrastructure including 24,800 sq. ft area for academic and administration, 09 Workshops, and 38,000 sq. ft area for laboratories. Excellent academic environment, state-of-the-art research facilities, and a vibrant campus life have made SRTEC the first choice for future textile engineers in Bangladesh. Students are enrolled at SRTEC through a highly-competitive entrance examination. It will be contributing immensely to nation-building by providing expert services to hallmark textile development projects. Faculty members work closely with industry and the government to address crucial problems and formulate national policies and strategies in textile sectors.
